Only just arrived, so it’s a bit soon to be drawing any real conclusions. Not least because we’re currently in a very particular and somewhat atypical part of the country: Koh Lipe – a tropical island so small you can literally walk from one side to t’other in about 15 minutes. And we have, visiting a selection of beaches, each of them lovely, with a few hundred metres of fine white sand, warm, crystal-clear water, and Nemo and any number of his mates.
